这款电表根据静电发电机的线路设计，可对电场强度进行非接触式测量。旋转屏蔽叶片会暂时阻止电场触达测量仪，并以规律的频率接触测量电极与电场，从而通过静电感应产生交变电压。实际测量值与交流电流呈正比。运用这一原理可在不损失能源的情况下测量电荷和场强。

 

由于电场强度E通过电压/已知距离（d）来测量，因此，该仪器可通过U=E * D的公式来计算电压，并通过静电感应产生电压相位角与叶轮的位置对比来确定该段的电压和方向的极性。

 

微驱动技术在电场测量仪中的应用

 

这款专为用户设计的设备还配备一个隔音塑料罩，因此测量范围十分广泛，可为1厘米, 2厘米, 5厘米, 10厘米及20厘米。例如，在1厘米处可测到0到10kv的电压；在20厘米处可测到0到200kv的电压。

 

在一些难以读数的位置，它可以锁定显示屏再读取，数字显示屏的上方会显示选择的测量距离，下方则显示测量数据。
