Ω型轨道挂缆滑车是一种半封闭Ω型轨道、轨道接头、支架、牵引小车、挂缆小车、终端头组成。牵引小车和挂缆小车均在Ω型轨道内腔，在移动设备拖拽下移动行走，挂于挂缆小车上的电缆随之放缆或收揽，同步移动。

Ω型轨道挂缆滑车优点是：可蔽雨雪、灰尘。小车行走轻便、噪音小、美观，所有部件标化，安装简便。缺点是：价格偏高。

（2） 电缆卷筒装置

电缆卷筒装置是将电缆盘状储存，卷绕在电缆卷筒上。当移动受电设备行走时，卷筒放缆，返回时卷筒收揽，卷筒可安装在移动受电设备上，也可固定安装。

一般放缆时是利用电缆的张力，拉动卷筒送缆；收缆时，利用电动力，重力或弹簧储能力，转动卷筒收揽。电缆卷筒的主要性能要求： ：卷筒放缆速度应和移动受电设备同步。第二：对电缆受力的保护。当张力超过电缆需用范围时，卷筒应能停转或空转。第三：电源输入一般采用集电环和电刷。

电缆卷筒装置常用的有：弹簧储能式、电动式两种。

弹簧储能式主要特点：该产品以弹簧力做动力，不消耗电能，结构紧凑。电缆在工作过程中始终受一定张力的作用，不会松弛，也不会缠绕打结。采用集电环、电刷集电结构，供电可靠，设置了可逆转结构，卷筒能正反转动。优点是：结构简单，故障较少、维护方便。缺点是：一般不建议长距离，大直径卷放电缆场合使用，弹簧收卷力计算调定恒张力，要求比较困难，电缆在放缆时，承受较大的张力。
