依据移动馈电装置的容量、信号通讯、速度运行、运行轨迹、安全防护以及特殊使用环境的要求，常常把移动馈电装置分为以下几点。

1、 按传输介质分：有动力传输和信息传输的移动馈电装置；

2、 按应用环境分：有一般工业环境和特殊工业环境（如防腐型、防尘型、防爆型等）；

3、 按结构分：有无防护式和防护式等；

4、 按运行接入方式分：有非滑接式和滑接式两大类。

二、 移动馈电装置的选取和应用

1、 非滑触式移动馈电装置

非滑触式移动馈电装置主要采取软电缆移动供电，适用于易燃易爆环境或室外起重机械移动供电，具有安全、可靠的特点。然而，移动距离不能过长、移动轨迹受到限制，电缆使用寿命有限。装置的主要区别是对于软电缆的收放和曲绕保护方式不同。

（1） 挂缆滑车

挂缆滑车有钢绳轨道电缆滑车，型钢轨道挂缆滑车以及Ω型轨道挂缆滑车几类。

钢绳轨道电缆滑车，轨道采用直径5.6mm钢绳张紧，钢绳上挂有滑轮。该方式一般用于小吨位起重机或电动葫芦。单梁起重机或桥式起重机小车供电带有一根多芯电缆供电，一般不多于三根。移动距离不大于30米，滑车距2.5—3米，单根电缆直径不大于27mm，移动速度不大于40m/min。

型钢轨道挂缆滑车多采用角钢或工字钢轨道作为移动轨道，一般适用于大吨位或机构较多的小车，可以挂较多电缆。缺点是，由于轨道暴露，易受冰雪、积尘堵塞。常用型材规格有：工字钢100。常用挂缆滑车型号有：C40 C65 C80。
